B.P. LeGault to perform live for the first time in 20 years at a benefit for fellow Detroit artist Ron Zakrin that suffered a major injury due to an accident in November 2018. "Ron is a great guy and I'm honored to perform at his benefit." - B.P. The event will take place at Detroit's Tangent Gallery on Friday, March 8th, 2019. LeGault promises a short and sweet set accompanied by a couple great Detroit musicians. The event will also have an art auction and other musical performances.
B.P. LeGault's obsession with mannequins began in 1998 while composing songs for his first solo release Gomorrah's Symphony (released 1999). "I was writing with a guitar, playing and singing every night all alone in front of a fire place. I started to imagine I was playing in front of an audience of mannequins and felt comforted. Like I wasn't alone anymore. And to me, I wasn't." Months later a friend gifted B.P. a few mannequin heads and the obsession swelled up like a pregnant womb. From then on LeGault…
B.P. LeGault will be releasing a new single on February 1st, 2017. The song is B.P.'s version of a 1989 classic that was a top ten billboard hit in January 1991. The original song was on a David Lynch film soundtrack and it's sultry video was one of the sexiest to ever grace the screen of MTV. Keep your eyes peeled for B.P.'s new single and video for the song!
